What does it mean when u see a pair of trainers tied together, flung to hang over telephone wires mean?
I see it all around my hometown and I just saw it on an American film The Sandlot 2, but there was no explanation...
I thought it was a prank at first, but I dunno..

Sometimes wannabe gang-bangers will use such to mark their terroritories. Kinda like a dog pissing in the yard.
