I have recurrent dreams where I'm ina shop and I alwasy look at the top-left-hand corner of the ceiling?

It's always very high up and I feel wierd. I can't articulate how, but I do.

THe FIRST shop I was in sold retro trainers, Perspex shoes, ridiculously tiny skirts and unusual colourful hoodies. It was dusty looking and old, almost cave-like. This was a good month or two ago.

Two nights ago, I dreamt I was in a shop selling make up and perfume with my aunt and looking at the ceiling again.

This shop was very feminine, with old-fashioned pale pink and ivory-cream décor that had gold accents.

What's the significance of it all?

This is tough one, but I am going to try to tackle it. Obviously, the top-left-hand corner of the ceiling is a very specific symbol to you. The fact that the dreams take place in shops where personal items are for sale tells me some of the meaning. In the first shop, the items are clothing that are very different and unique, and felt more masculine to me. Clothing and personal items, like make up and perfume, to me are symbols of identity. In the next shop, the items are very feminine, therefore calling upon that part of your identity.

It seems to me that you are caught between wanting to express your very unique sense of personality, which may be more masculine, and also wanting to fit in with what is the norm for females. The ceiling is a symbol perhaps of "how far can I take this" or "how high can I go with this."

Left-handedness is rare: my daughter is a leftie, and so is only 10% of the population. They are usually more artistic types, which I feel suits your personality. You are creative and artistic.

Because the first shop with the more masculine items is old and musty, and the feminine shop has gold accents (abundance), you would do better to go for the more feminine identity. It will get you farther.
